Advanced Transit Dynamics, Inc. (ATDynamics) is a fast-growing CleanTech start-up company working to build a more efficient and sustainable freight transportation industry.  Founded in 2006, the company raised awareness throughout North America of the $2 Billion annual fuel saving opportunity of reducing aerodynamic drag at the rear of long-haul tractor-trailers.  The company now sells the first commercially successful rear-drag aerodynamic technology for semi-trailers, the TrailerTail®, and is rapidly expanding its product line and impact on the transportation industry.  ATDynamics has received numerous awards for its high profile TrailerTail® technology and now, among other projects, is a sub-recipient of a $40M Department of Energy “SuperTruck” project to re-design tractor-trailers to be 50% more efficient than any currently available vehicles on the road.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ATDynamics is seeking an exceptional marketing and PR intern(s) to assist in promoting our aerodynamic, fuel-saving products.  Intern will maintain managerial responsibilities in the marketing department focusing on tradeshows and upcoming environmentally focused PR events.

Company headquarters in South San Francisco, CA.  Ability to travel throughout the US as required.

TIMELINE:

Spring 2012: March - May 2012 Application Deadline January 28th

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist in coordinating company trade shows, PR/media events, and travel arrangements
• Coordinating and planning for special marketing initiatives focusing on our upcoming TrailerTail Road Tour
• Provide support for marketing and sales team including internet research, communicating with press, and writing press releases
• Assist with social media outreach (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube)
• Answer both technical and non-technical questions for customers
• Interact with diverse stakeholders: media agencies, trucking company management, fleet maintenance personnel, engineers, shippers, and government agencies

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• College degree with strong academic track record
• Excellent writing ability with strong organization and presentation skills
• Social media savvy and experience blogging
• Excellent computer skills with Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Google Maps
• Experience with IT, SalesForce.com or related CRM software a plus
