2006, the company raised awareness throughout North America of the $2 Billion annual fuel saving
opportunity of reducing aerodynamic drag at the rear of long‐haul tractor‐trailers.  The company now
sells the first commercially successful rear‐drag aerodynamic technology for semi‐trailers, the
TrailerTail®, and is rapidly expanding its product line and impact on the transportation industry.  
ATDynamics has received numerous awards for its high profile TrailerTail® technology and now, among
other projects, is a sub‐recipient of a $40M Department of Energy “SuperTruck” project to re‐design
tractor‐trailers to be 50% more efficient than any currently available vehicles on the road.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ATDynamics is seeking an exceptional Field Installation Technician to lead
installation initiatives for our aerodynamic technology, namely the TrailerTail® and side skirt products.  
Ideal candidate must have proven hands‐on experience with basic tools as well as the ability to interact
with customers and effectively train others.  Position will be based at the company headquarters in
South San Francisco, CA but will require substantial travel depending on the needs of current and future
projects.

Field Installation Technician

COMPENSATION:

Hourly trial period to start, then salary depending on experience.  Significant opportunity to grow with company

LOCATION:

Company headquarters in South San Francisco, CA.  Ability to travel 60%+ of work days on monthly basis as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Learn  and master installation procedures for two ATDynamics fuel-savings products
• Represent ATDynamics and its products as on‐site, customer‐facing “technical salesperson”
• Develop on-site solutions and modifications when necessary
• Ensure that products are always installed up to the highest structural and aesthetic standards
• Train customers on proper installation techniques
• Provide accurate reports of installation progress to Project Manager
• Perform duties effectively with very little direct oversight
• Interact with diverse stakeholders: trucking fleet maintenance personnel and corporate decision makers.  Represent the company in a highly-professional manner and appearance
• Flexible travel schedule

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience and strong ability with basic hand tools (drills, wrenches, etc.)
• Good teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills needed to train and certify shop workers on installation procedures
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
• Ability to work quickly under time pressure with high quality
• High energy level and ability to work quickly under time pressure with high quality
