Advanced Transit Dynamics, Inc. (ATDynamics) is dedicated to the rapid commercialization of fuel efficiency technology for the global freight industry. ATDynamics' flagship product, the TrailerTail™ , will deliver hundreds of millions of gallons of fuel savings annually to long-haul trucking fleets. A Silicon Valley based firm started in 2006, ATDynamics is working with leading fleet operators to ensure that their investments in fuel efficiency technology will deliver significant cost advantages over their competition.

As NASA aerodynamicists have understood for decades, the low pressure system created at the tail end of a tractor-trailer creates as much aerodynamic drag as wind resistance at the front of the vehicle. The rear-mounted ATDynamics TrailerTail™ delivers more than 5% fuel efficiency gains at highway speeds, provides improved vehicle safety and handling, and does not interfere with trucking operations. High oil prices, a competitive market environment, and global warming require that competitive fleets improve the aerodynamics of their trailers.

In the early 1980's trucks tended to be boxy, un-aerodynamic shapes. Now, every competitive fleet employs streamlined cabs at the front of their trailers. ATDynamics is working with fleet partners, trailer manufacturers and shippers to drive the same efficiency revolution at the tail end of the tractor-trailer.
