FOUNDER & CEO

Andrew Smith founded ATDynamics in 2006. Under his leadership, ATDynamics has brought to market the most commercially successful semi-trailer rear-drag aerodynamics technology in the history of the freight industry, with the potential to reduce diesel fuel demand by over $2 billion annually. Prior to ATDynamics, Andrew advised businesses on four continents as a management consultant in the transportation, manufacturing and energy sectors including work with General Electric's Wind Energy Group. He holds a B.S. in physics from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. (Extended Bio)

JEFF GROSSMANN

VP ENGINEERING

With expertise in product design and production management, Jeff Grossmann was responsible for overseeing all aspects of development for the TrailerTail®, the Company's flagship product. He consults with trucking fleets to track equipment reliability and performance and serves as a technical contact for fleet needs. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Dartmouth College.

KYLE HOUSTON

VP SALES

Kyle Houston is responsible for the successful implementation of advanced trailer aerodynamics programs by ATDynamics trucking fleet customers. He comes to ATDynamics after playing a critical role in the widespread industry adoption of all-electric auxiliary power units for long-haul trucks. He has over 15 years of sales and marketing experience with technical product lines including recognition as leading the sales effort for Inc. Magazine's 4th fastest growing energy company.

MITCH SLOMIAK

CFO

Mitch Slomiak brings more than 20 years of senior financial experience to the ATDynamics team, with a unique blend of business planning, strategy and senior financial operations expertise. Over the last decade, Mitch has served as a CFO and advisor to multiple clean technology companies.

STEVEN RODGER

GLOBAL MARKETING DIRECTOR

With over a decade of hands-on involvement expanding entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Rodger directs company marketing, while overseeing operations and finances. Prior to ATDynamics, Mr. Rodger consulted for several businesses throughout the U.S. and New Zealand in the clean energy, manufacturing and media production sectors. He holds a B.S. degree in environmental science from University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the Orfalea School of Business, Cal Poly.

DEVIN LAMMERS

DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER FULFILLMENT

Devin Lammers' career has been dedicated to building entrepreneurial ventures in the CleanTech industry including transportation sustainability and solar energy. With expertise in project planning and implementation, Devin is responsible for ATDynamics' customer fulfillment needs. Devin's interest in aerodynamics began at a young age when he received his pilot's license at age 15. In addition, he holds a B.A. in Geography and Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College.

DEVIN KOCH

VP INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

Mr. Koch brings a broad background of international business development and transportation experience to ATDynamics. Mr. Koch's experience blends a broad background of client focused work at global consultancies Accenture and Booz and Co. where he led a wide variety of management consulting projects. ATDynamics will also draw heavily on Mr. Koch's company building experience as he builds a global sales and engineering organization for ATDynamics with his initial efforts focused in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

JOHN ELSTON

CONTROLLER

Mr. Elston brings extensive hands-on managerial experience ranging from early stage startups to multinational corporations. His skill in analysis, in system and organizational development, and in mergers and acquisitions have helped several companies through rapid growth and successful dispositions. John holds a BA in Economics from Wabash College and an MBA from Indiana University.

 

CRYSTAL ARVIGO, MBA

MANAGER OF HUMAN RESOURCES, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Crystal brings 15 years of diverse business and entrepreneurial experience to the ATDynamics Team. She manages Human Resources and Recruiting, Media Relations and Corporate Branding and assists with ATDynamics’ international expansion efforts. Crystal is passionate about making business a force of change in the world and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and International Business from Florida International University as well as an M.B.A. in Sustainable Management from the Presidio Graduate School.

KYLE SAGER

LEAD FIELD TECHNICIAN

Kyle leads the installation team within ATDynamics, supporting both engineering and customer fulfillment functions. Mr. Sager has extensive experience in the transportation industry and competitively races cars when he's not retrofitting America's most fuel efficient fleets with TrailerTail retrofits.

JARED NIEMIEC

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Jared brings energy and passion to even the most challenging engineering environments. His end-user focus has led to successful motorsports development programs and clean tech research. At ATDynamics, Jared is managing many new product initiatives that will revolutionize the face of the trucking industry. Jared holds a B.S. from UC Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering.

COURT HINRICHER

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Court supports ATDynamics' research and development and future technology departments ensuring quality control on all TrailerTail products. Court has extensive experience in clean energy and structural engineering and is currently working to build the next generation aerodynamics with ATDynamics SuperTruck program. Mr. Hinricher holds a B.S. from UC Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering.

MIKE POLIDORI

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Mike joins ATDynamics from Honda R&D where he designed and developed automotive chassis parts. While a student at the University of California, Irvine, Mike led a team in the design and construction of a compressed natural gas racecar for a fuel efficiency competition. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.

 

ROBERT STOICA

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Robert brings enthusiasm and passion for innovation. He has product design and development experience with prior work in the solar industry. Robert is leading initiatives to sustain and enhance current TrailerTail products as well as developing new products for the European market. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.

 

BRENDAN McLOUGHLIN

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - WEST

Brendan graduated from Colgate University where, among other things, he studied energy policy and economics. After working with several high tech start-ups in San Francisco, he was thrilled to learn about what ATDynamics was doing and jumped at the opportunity to join the team. He brings a passion for the product and a love of numbers to the team. As a triathlete, he also looks forward to applying lessons in aerodynamics to his life outside of work.

CHRIS CUMMINGS

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Chris has over two decades of  experience working in all aspects of the trucking industry including Vendor, OEM, and Fleet sides of the business.  He is a valued partner to his customers because he understands the intricacies of their business and is able to provide solutions that quickly return their investment. Chris takes great enjoyment in the industry and its people.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he also played baseball.

With over 25 years of transportation industry experience, Dan brings knowledge and enthusiasm to the ATDynamics team.  Dan understands the complexities that trucking fleets face in order to be competitive and welcomes the opportunity to introduce the latest fuel saving technologies.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and is determined to lead the trucking industry toward a more fuel efficient future.

Marco is an entrepreneur at heart  and brings his business expertise to the ATDynamics team.  He has a proven ability to gain cooperation and build consensus among diverse groups and at the organizational level. He brings leadership to the sales team and is focused on delivering performance-driven savings to forward thinking trucking fleets.

Giuseppe supports ATDynamics’ growing sales team by ensuring that fleets achieve maximum fuel efficiency.  He has a background in transportation and finance and earned a Bachelor’s. Degree in Business from the University of San Francisco.

FIELD TECHNICIAN

Bryan brings over 15 years of commercial construction experience to the ATDynamics team. He utilizes his background in construction to ensure that TrailerTail® technology is deployed efficiently and effectively by fleets nationwide. Brian is also an entrepreneur, having owned and managed  a plumbing company for 7 years prior to joining the TrailerTail® Rapid Deployment Team.

Louise brings over 13 years of sales coordination and customer service experience to the ATDynamics team. She  supports customers both domestically and internationally, and continually raises the bar in customer satisfaction through her impeccable attention to detail, thoroughness and dependability

OFFICE MANAGER

Nicole brings a diverse spectrum of expertise to ATDynamics with past experience in the technology, transportation, and clean-tech industries. Nicole manages ATDynamics’ day to day Human Resources, Facilities, Legal and Accounting operations. 

RODNEY DURAN

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY FOREMAN

Rodney joined ATDynamics in 2011 and has moved quickly through the ranks to Product Assembly Foreman, overseeing the TrailerTail® manufacturiing process. He also works closely with the ATDynamics Engineering Team to prototype the latest fuel saving technologies for the trucking industry. Rodney honed his management skills while serving in the U.S. Navy on the flight deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

 

CHRIS GABRIEL

PURCHASING SPECIALIST

As one of the earliest employees at ATDynamics, Chris ensures that the Company’s facilities and purchasing operations keep pace with expansion.  He manages TrailerTail® product inventory and specializes in operation streamlining and system automation.  Chris also assists with product testing and R&D, ensuring that all products meet the industry’s trucker-tough standards.  When he is not purchasing parts for TrailerTail® you can find him modifying custom hot rods at his Auto Body Shop in South San Francisco.
